The animation is set in the 1950s, in France, along the peaceful landscape of the Marne river. There lives François, a dreamy boy with boundless imagination. His life is transformed when his father decides to start building a boat in their garden. From then on, the family embarks on a grand odyssey, a collective venture to construct a boat that would carry them away —to a place somewhere between reality and dreams.
