In a small zoo in Caracas, the arrival of the hippopotamus Zafari is celebrated by neighbors from different social classes. A family watches the celebrations from the window of their apartment in a decadent upper-class condominium. Amidst the chaos generated by the scarcity of food, water and electricity, the family needs to solve everyday problems while trying to find a solution to leave the country. Ana, the mother, runs through the building looking for food in the abandoned apartments, but strange noises in the dark corridors frighten her more and more. In an increasingly savage world, Zafari is the only one who still has something to eat.
