The documentary takes us to the massive protests against the Indian government, which, during the COVID-19 lockdown, passed new agricultural laws that threatened farmers’ livelihoods. The year-long demonstrations gathered thousands of citizens —men and women of all ages, classes, and religions— on the borders of Delhi. The film invites us to experience the everyday textures and indomitable spirit of this historic farmers’ movement.
