Born in Ravenna, Italy, in 1972. As a visual artist, he worked with a continuous mingling of documentary cinema and contemporary art. Directed several shorts that were screened both in important festivals and museums. His first feature film, the documentary The Challenge (2016, 41st Mostra), won the Special Jury Prize of the Filmmakers of the Present section at Locarno Film Festival. Atlantide is his second feature film.
