Simón Mesa Soto
Born in Medellin, Colombia, in 1986. He studied audiovisual communication at Universidad de Antioquia. In 2014, he finished the MA in filmmaking from the London Film School. His graduation film, Leidi (2014), won the short film Golden Palm at Cannes Film Festival. Amparo is his first feature film.
