Silvan Zürcher
Born in Aarberg, Switzerland, in 1982. Silvan studied philosophy, film and German philology at the Universities of Bern and Zurich. He took a degree in film production at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin. With his brother Ramon Zürcher, he directed "The Strange Little Cat" (2013), which premiered at the Berlinale and has won several international awards. "The Girl and the Spider" is his second feature film.
