Sandra works as director, photographer, documentary filmmaker, visual artist and media activist. Founder and director of Vagaluzes Filmes and Imagem.desejo, she made, among others, the medium-length films Cultura de Engenho (2017) and Nhandereko, Comida e Educação (2020), in addition to the features Percepção de Risco (2009) and Rendas no Ar (2014).
