Sandra works as director, photographer, documentary filmmaker, visual artist and media activist. Founder and director of Vagaluzes Filmes and Imagem.desejo, she made, among others, the medium-length films "Cultura de Engenho" (2017) and "Nhandereko, Comida e Educação" (2020), in addition to the features "Percepção de Risco" (2009) and "Rendas no Ar" (2014).
