Born in Argentina in 1969. She studied at the University of Cinema, in Buenos Aires, and was a fellow of the Berlinale Talent Campus. Paula made her debut in feature film with Herencia (2001), presented at 28th Mostra. She also made the documentary Familia Lugones (2007) and the fiction features Lluvia (2008), One Love (2011) and The Sleepwalkers (2019), presented at film festivals like Havana, Mar del Plata, San Sebastián and Toronto.
