Born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 1984. He studied at the FAMU film school, in Prague. He made the feature films "A Night Too Young" (2012) and "Family Film" (2015), presented at film festivals like the Berlin International Film Festival, the San Sebastián International Film Festival and the Tokyo International Film Festival, and "Winter Flies" (2018), which gave him the best direction award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
