Aleksey Chupov was born in Russia in 1973, and he is also a director and scriptwriter. He studied in Moscow and in the USA. Chupov began his career working as a TV journalist. Together, they have written and directed feature films like "Intimate Parts" (2013) and "The Man Who Surprised Everyone" (2018), premiered in the Venice International Film Festival.
