Born in 1989, she is a French filmmaker and screenwriter based in Lisbon. She studied literature, art and cinema at Denis Diderot University, in Paris. Her short films Motu Maeva (2014) and Black Sun (2019) have been selected at film festivals such as FID Marseille, Toronto, Mar del Plata, DocLisboa and Torino. Maureen works with film medium and is a member of L’Abominable, an artist-run lab based in Paris. The Tsugua Diaries is her first feature film.
