Marité Ugás

Born in Peru. After earning a communications degree from the University of Lima, she joined the first generation of students at EICTV, in Cuba. She created Sudaca Films in the 90’s, where she directs, writes, edits and produces. Marité produced Postcards from Leningrad (2007) and Bad Hair (2013), both directed by Mariana Rondón and presented at Mostra. She also directed the features At Midnight and a Half (1999) and The Kid who Lies (2011).
