Born in Kosovo in 1992. During the war, his family was forced to flee as refugees. Swiss-raised film director and writer, he studied international history and political sciences in London and Geneva. Maxville graduated from film school with the short Lost Exile (2016), which premiered and was awarded at the Locarno Film Festival. He made the feature documentary Zvicra (2018). Nostromo is his second feature film.
