Azra Deniz Okyay
Born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1983. She moved to Paris to study cinema at Sorbonne Nouvelle, where she had her bachelor’s and also master’s. Azra has been invited to various solo and group exhibitions with contemporary art collectives in Istanbul, directed music videos and made a number of shorts like Shaman Woman (2011). Ghosts is her debut feature film.
