Max, a young producer, tries to complete his first film. Leopold, an executive from a television broadcasting station has promised to buy the film, but regrets his decision and decides not to. Leopold is not the only one to decide whether or not the film is going to be shown. Another three people are involved in the process, all of them with other interests. Max then borrows money from Jonny, a money lender, and the situation becomes complicated. To complete the film, Max is capable of excesses. So much so that he accepts a suggestion from Evelyn, a secretary who dreams of playing the lead in the film: extorsion.
