Known for his baroque, unpredictable plots, Raoul Ruiz, provides the public with three clues towards understanding his new film. The first: the film is an invitation to kidnapping where the handsome, sensuous and cruel offer protection to an innocent being. A troubled Emil will know how to gain her freedom ridding herself of her share of curses. The second clue: the film is a police tale in a non-existent Switzerland invaded by militarism. There, an heiress is satisfied with family schemes and government plans. The third clue: this is police drama. A young woman believes that tomorrow will be the best day of her life and slaughters all of her family, with the services of a professional killer - a fugitive who has escaped from an insane asylum.
