Gianluigi Toccafondo’s film is a reflexion on the poetry of Pasolini written in the region of Friuli when he was twenty years old, where death is a recurring theme. The film is also reminiscent of some characters from films such as La Terra Vista dalla Luna (an episode from The Witches), Che Cosa Sono le Nuvole (an episode from Caprice Italian Style), The Hawks and the Sparrows, Accatone! and Mamma Roma, to broach the continuity between life and death.
