Cold Light (2004)

Sobre o filme

Grimur was a happy boy until the day a catastrophe killed all his family – something he had foreseen in the drawings he used to make, but the meaning of which had escaped him at the time. At 40, Grimur became a solitary man who led an isolated life, a sort of self-imposed exile. From the child able to foresee the future, he entered an adult life haunted by visions, all related to a past he could not deal with. Decided to break this vicious circle, he starts hanging together with totally different people, an attitude that can help him reconcile with himself. He starts to attend drawing lessons, and intrigues his colleagues with very peculiar versions of naked models. He gets romantically involved with his teacher, and then she gets pregnant – unleashing in him an acute self-questioning process - a turbulent process, after which some happiness could be found if only he can face his fears.
