Magnus, Tuva, and Jonny are childhood friends, and they find themselves in an unusual situation. Magnus and Tuva are married; Jonny is Magnus’ best friend and Tuva’s lover. Jonny is not at all pleased about this situation and decides to take action. After an argument with Tuva on the subject, he is wounded, grazed by a rifle shot, someone destroys his car, and fire breaks out on his farm. Jonny is suspicious of everyone, but his friends assure him that nobody in the village where they live would have any reason to attack. Tuva then discovers that she is pregnant and that the father of the child is Jonny, her lover – not Magnus. Jonny faces more problems when the bank refuses a loan and this will lead to his losing the house. Jonny, however, is not the kind of person that gives up easily.
