Rufino, a boy of 15, living on the streets of Mexico City depends on “odd jobs” to get any money at all. Life on the streets is hard, and Rufino is soon to procure a means to make more money. The way out is to adhere to drug traffic. His involvement with lawless individuals leads Rufino, one day, to steal money from El Uchoa, a corrupt government official who, in partnership with La Seño, controls drug traffic in the district where they live. This act on the part of Rufino, unleashes a wild police chase which few will survive.
