Alexander the Great (1917)
Sobre o filme
A subtle comedy of manners on the upper class in a small urban city where the majority of events take place in a hotel that is run by the well-meaning chef in the restaurant, known as Alexander the Great. Consisting of a series of short, amusing stories : invariably involving romance, encounters, and misencounters : the film intertwines all of the narratives with endings regarded as `amoral` for the times, so much so they were censured. Some of the narratives were excluded from the final version.
