Twenty-one long takes show scenes of the night the Battle of Maria Antônia Street happened in October 1968 from the point view of students and teachers from the left wing student movement inside the University of São Paulo’s Faculty of Philosophy building. These characters faced attacks from the Comando de Caça aos Comunistas (Command for Hurting Communists) across the street, at Mackenzie University. As the battle begins, shouting, rocks, sticks, molotov cocktails, and homemade bombs are thrown. Twenty four hours full of 1960s youth passion just as the military was about to invade the University of São Paulo’s building.
