Jacqueline fled war-torn Liberia, in Africa. As a refugee, alone and penniless, she tries to survive on an island in Greece. Frequently tormented by the memories of her past, she begins a friendship with Callie, a rootless tour guide. Together, they can find the resilience to forge ahead.
